In the middle of my journey through life,

a dark wood overcame me

for I had lost my way.

The initial canto in Dante's Divine comedy have inspired me to produced three different series. Lost in the forest are a series of photographs taken with a large format camera in the forest at night. The aim was to obtain photographs that looks completely black at a first glance, but once the viewer lets the eyes slowly adjust to the darkness it can distinguish the trees and branches in the motive.
